On 6 October 1985, PC Keith Blakelock met his death at the hands of a raging mob during the infamous Broadwater Farm riots in north London. Escalating racial tension between police and local youths was cited as a catalyst for the violence, yet there were failures of police leadership that made his death more likely. Includes dramatic reconstructions and eyewitness accounts, as well as an interview with Winston Silcott , the man jailed for but later acquitted of PC Blakelock's murder. With strong language.
