The Priest, the Painter and the Devil

on BBC Two England

When Henry Lincoln first began researching the story of a French village priest who was led by secret parchments to the source of great wealth, he explored tempting possibilities. Had the priest found the lost treasure of Jerusalem concealed by the Visigoths, or that hidden by the Templars?
In this Chronicle programme HENRY LINCOLN is now able to offer a solution to the mystery of what exactly the priest had found at Rennes-Ie-Chateau. His solution, until recently, had remained hidden in a painting by Nicolas Poussin , Les Bergers d'Arcadie.
