Narrated by David Attenborough A red squirrel - scampering through the trees is now a rare sight in Britain. In Germany it's not so: HEINZ SIELMANN has patiently filmed their behaviour. When the daytime squirrels go to their dreys to sleep, the 'squirrels of the night' take over - dormice with huge eyes and sleepy movements.
