Two newcomers to televised darts start this evening's session in the first round: JOHN O'SHEA (Republic of Ireland) against ALEXANDER MACKINNON (Canada), followed by an intriguing clash between ex-World Champion, JOHN LOWE (now No 5 seed) and his old rival, TONY BROWN. Another newcomer, KEXI HEINAHARJO (Finland) plays DANNY INGLIS (Scotland), who did so well in the British Professional Championship, and finally there is a potential 'humdinger' between No 4 seed, CLIFF LAZARENKO, and CERI MORGAN from Wales.
