Look Again: Shelducks

on BBC Two England

Introduced by Peter Scott.
The brilliantly marked shelduck and its neighbours live on an estuary, their lives governed by the rise and fall of the tide. Each summer the shelduck flies to the sandbanks of the Heligoland Bight to moult in safety with a hundred-thousand of its fellows.
