Tonight from BBC North: A Matter of Breeding
The Great Yorkshire Show is one of the biggest events of its kind in the country. Farmers and breeders from all over the North proudly present their best animals in a bid for the top livestock prizes.
Tonight's film follows the fortunes of a group of farmers preparing for last year's Great Yorkshire Show at Harrogate - from the early grooming of the animals up to the moment of judging in the show ring.
