A Winter's Tale

on BBC Two England

Film premiere. Eric Rohmer's romantic drama opens the Premiere season of recent French films showing for the first time on British network television.
Starring Charlotte Very, Frederic van den Driessche

An idyllic holiday affair ends with the hurried exchange of addresses on a crowded platform. Only later does Felicie realise that she has lost the love of her life through a stupid mistake. As she hesitates in dull December between commitment to a serious librarian or her considerate boss, she cannot help recalling the magic of that perfect summer love.
