4: Alma Mahler is the name by which the black-haired beauty Alma
Schindler, bom in Vienna in 1879, is best remembered today - Gustav Mahler was her first husband. But not her last: the long list of her husbands and lovers included the cream of Austrian artistic circles.
Alma Mahler was also something of a composer in her own right. And among her other claims to fame was saving the autograph of Bruckner's third symphony.
