As regulator of Nigeria's Food and Drug Agency, Dr Dora Akunyili 's job is to stop fake drugs flooding into the country, a dangerous but lucrative trade that has led to an outbreak of drug-resistant strains of malaria, tuberculosis and HIV - the world's biggest killers. But this post has led to Akunyili being shot at and having her offices burnt down. As part of the Africa Lives on the BBC season, reporter Olenka Frenkiel follows Akunyili as she continues her campaign. The documentary also investigates instances of counterfeit medicines in Britain and asks whether we are at risk from the same threats facing Nigeria.
