Mark visits the Wee Isle Dairy on Gigha and finds out more about their ice-cream making and the popularity of their fresh whole milk.

The abandoned village of Auchtavan near Braemar is home to a rare surviving heather thatched roof. Mark went for a visit when Historic Environment Scotland was carrying out surveys to find out more about its importance. He also hears about open days that are planned for the village throughout the summer to encourage people to come and explore the site.

When the team visited Westray they bumped into a podcast listener all the way from Ontario, Canada. Adam Fearnall tells Mark and Euan about how he was inspired by Scotland Outdoors.

The Isle of May in the Firth of Forth is home to one of Scotland's most thriving puffin colonies. Mark took a boat across and spent some time on the reserve as a puffin survey was carried out.

Euan hears how a Facebook page is helping conservationists in Orkney keep track of the invasive stoat population.

Out for the Weekend producer Karen MacKenzie was holidaying in Kinlochbervie recently and had her first experience of looking for Mussels on the beach.

And we have a soundscape of Mark's trip to the Isle of May. Show less
