Wiping the Slate Clean

on BBC Two England

To coincide with BBC2's season of programmes about Czechoslovakia, Paul Martin reports on the effects of the revolution on the education system. It was the students who organised the strikes and demonstrations which swept the Communists from power.
Now the same students have returned to their classes, eager to bring about a revolution in education. Overthrowing the regime took only a few days; the process of re-education will take longer. Producer Tim Lambert
