Now in Turkey, Donovan Bailey, Gareth Thomas, Iwan Thomas and James Toseland are about to be initiated in one of the oldest combat sports on Earth - Turkish oil wrestling. Requiring a combination of quick thinking and brute force, they will have to step out of their comfort zones and battle against some of the toughest competitors in the country.
They begin training in Edirne with one of Turkey's great wrestlers, Ahmet Yahvuz. He is a master of the sport with dozens of tournament victories to his name. He will train the men and decide when they are ready to earn own their own 'kispet' - special leather trousers worn during the fight.
Ahmet soon starts putting the men through their paces and Gareth's rugby training and experience of contact sport helps gives him the edge, whilst James's success comes from speed and agility. But the physicality of the sport and the risk of injury soon becomes apparent when they watch their first match. Finding the contact sport a struggle, sprinters Iwan and Donovan contemplate the risk of injury. It's decision time - who has got what it takes and is ready to face the professional fighters?
