Davis Cup

2015

Semi-Finals - Great Britain v Australia: Day 2, Part 2

Duration: 55 minutes

First broadcast: on BBC Two HDLatest broadcast: on BBC Two Scotland

Sue Barker presents live coverage of the crucial Davis Cup semi-final doubles match between Great Britain and Australia at Glasgow's Emirates Arena. The two nations have a rich sporting rivalry and with a place in the final up for grabs, the doubles match is expected to be a fiercely competitive and passionate affair.

Andy and Jamie Murray were successfully paired together by coach Leon Smith against France in the quarter-final win at Queen's, and he could decide to play the brothers together once again - this time in front of a partisan home Scottish crowd. Australia hold the advantage in previous Davis Cup encounters, winning eight of 12 matches. Great Britain's most recent win against the Aussies came in 1978, the year they last reached the final.
