Sean's former writing partner Tim Whittick is in town. There is no love lost between Tim and Beverly. He blames her for breaking up his partnership with Sean; she's his 'Yoko', so Beverly ducks out of lunch with the resentful Brit. Instead, she forces Matt to keep his promise to take her to a Golden Globes gifting suite. Beverly is giddy at all the free swag around her ('It's like when The Wizard of Oz turns to colour!')
Meanwhile, at lunch, Tim reveals to Sean that he's not just there for a catch-up between old friends. He comes armed with notes for a project he and Sean developed years ago: a comedy that shares a strong similarity to Sean and Beverly's new show The Opposite of Us.
While carting Beverly around the gifting suite, Matt gets an angry call from his ex-wife Diane. She's just found out that he's been teaching their young sons how to draw pictures of the female anatomy. Matt comes over to her house armed with gifting suite loot in the hopes of winning Diane's forgiveness.
