In this selection of highlights from the 2014 Royal Institution Christmas Lectures, Danielle explains how LED screens are able to turn electricity into pictures and how digital cameras are able to turn pictures into electricity. She also attempts to hack a light switch to control it via her phone and explores technology that allows us to touch objects that aren't really there. Finally, she delves into the world of robotics, discovering a machine that can solve a Rubik's cube in a matter of seconds and a robot designed to navigate across the surface of Mars. Show less
