Two years ago Europe needed 'the Miracle at Medinah' to take the spoils. That victory is one of the most famous in the history of the Ryder Cup with the European team rallying from a 10-6 deficit to win eight of the 12 singles matches on the final day, and halve one of the others, to secure a dramatic triumph.
