Later... with Jools Holland returns for a series of eight shows and joining Jools on the first show are Leeds-based trio Alt-J, who perform tracks from their upcoming second album This Is All Yours, which is the follow-up to their Mercury award-winning 2012 debut An Awesome Wave.
Also in the studio, from Jacksonville, North Carolina, is Ryan Adams, who makes his fourth appearance on the show and 14 years after the release of his debut album Heartbreaker, he performs a couple of songs from his self-titled and self-produced 14th LP, which has been described as 'a collection of burly, electric-guitar-laden drive-time rock anthems'.
West London collective Jungle bring their mesmeric, kaleidoscopic modern soul to the studio. Led by a musical duo known simply as J and T, they expand to a seven-piece live set-up to deliver a couple of tunes from their debut self-titled album.
Jools is also joined by Tahliah Debrett Barnett, aka FKA twigs, who has just released her debut album LP1 to much critical acclaim and melds a variety of genres from trip hop and jazz to ambient and R&B.
Formed in Canton, Ohio, legendary US R&B singing group The O'Jays, known for classics such as Back Stabbers and Love Train, are joining Jools round the piano. And from Australia, singer-songwriter Vance Joy makes his debut on the show with his infectious global hit and UK top 10 single Riptide from his debut album Dream Your Life Away. Show less
