Trying to work out what to do with gluts from your vegetable patch or allotment can sometimes start to test even the most creative of cooks, Susan Reynolds and Lorna Crawford show how you can take gluts of almost anything and make them into appetising juice drinks.

The hot summer has led to an abundance of cabbage white butterflies. If you are a butterfly fan this is great news, but if you have an allotment full of brassicas then it could lead to the decimation of your crop. Gardening expert Nicola Singleton explains how to best protect your cabbage, cauliflower and kale from these fluttering piranhas. Show less
