Food fanatic Stefan Gates is on a one man mission to try to stop the UK's Mums and Dads ruining mealtimes, but he has just 24 hours to teach Disaster Chef parents to cook a restaurant-standard, two-course meal in a professional kitchen for three mystery judges - including actor and CBBC presenter Joe Swash.
Stef is in Oswestry to rescue eldest kids Brooklyn and Bailey from their Disaster Chef mum Jack, who is obsessed with feeding them cereal for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Brooklyn and Bailey are desperate for meaty treats, but Jack just burns everything she tries to cook. Stef's task is to get vegetarian Jack feeling confident enough to progress from bowls of cereal to posh nosh like cordon-bleu burgers and super-tricky chocolate roulade and, at the same time, win her at least two yumms from the Disaster Chef judges.
