L8R Youngers 3 picks up from the two previous series, both of which won Baftas. The characters are now 14 and in Year 9. They are multi-ethnic, lively, funny, street, serious, and stuck with all the problems and pleasures of growing up. The challenges of adolescence are all around, and they meet them with their usual mixture of savvy, honesty and humour.
The three episodes deal with the risks and causes of alcohol abuse, the impact and stigma of poverty, sexuality and the pressure to have sex for both girls and boys, as well as sexting and the impact of social media. Show less
