Clare Balding presents live coverage of the world famous Badminton Horse Trials. Great Britain's William Fox-Pitt, the current world number one event rider, is one of several stellar names in action. He is aiming to win a second Badminton title having claimed victory on Tamarillo in 2004.

The three-day event competition dates back to the 1940s and is one of the sport's most prestigious prizes.

The final day as ever sees the competition draw to a close with the enthralling showjumping stage, following on from the dressage and cross-country events.

Australia's Sam Griffiths emerged victorious last year on Paulank Brockagh, with British duo Oliver Townend and Harry Meade completing the podium.
