Cycling: World Track Championships

2012

2012

Duration: 2 hours, 30 minutes

First broadcast: on BBC Two ScotlandLatest broadcast: on BBC Two England

Jill Douglas presents all the best of the action from the World Championships at Melbourne's Hisense Arena, which also hosted track competition at the 2006 Commonwealth Games. This represents the last chance to secure London 2012 Olympic qualification, and in particular an all British battle in the men's sprint promises drama. Olympic champion Sir Chris Hoy faces reigning world champion Jason Kenny knowing that only one of them can compete for the title in London this summer.

Elsewhere, Britain can expect some great battles for world titles against hosts Australia - including Victoria Pendleton and Jess Varnish in the team sprint against Anna Meares and Kaarle McCulloch and what promises to be an epic men's team pursuit.

Commentary from Hugh Porter and former world champion Chris Boardman. Show less
