Biographical drama following American writer Truman Capote's research into the murder of a Kansas family that would form the basis for his 'non-fiction novel' In Cold Blood.

November 1959. A family's brutal killing in Kansas brings Truman Capote over from New York. Over time, as the locals warm to this outsider, he becomes close to the two drifters arrested for the crime, especially taciturn Perry Smith. But in getting so close to the story, Truman risks becoming too much a part of it. Show less
