The Hairy Bikers: Mums Know Best is a celebration of the very best of home cooking in Britain. Si and Dave have toured the nation hunting out Britain's lost family recipes - those forgotten gems and secret scribbles that have been handed down through the generations but are in danger of being lost forever.

The Hairy Bikers are treated to flamboyant recipes that would be fit for a king. Si King and Dave Myers sample such delights as a pig's trotter dish from the Baltics and a lemon souffle by order of the royal family. They learn the secret behind a perfect baked Alaska and conjure up their own prized honey glazed ham. The lads are also shown a lesson or two in etiquette.

The celebration climaxes in a field filled with nearly 200 mums tasting and sharing their favourite dishes. Show less
