Rugby League: Challenge Cup

2009

10/05/2009

Duration: 2 hours, 30 minutes

First broadcast: on BBC Two Northern Ireland (Analogue)Latest broadcast: on BBC Two England

Clare Balding introduces live coverage of the Challenge Cup fifth-round tie between holders St Helens and Catalans Dragons.

Saints are looking to win the Challenge Cup for a fourth consecutive time and will be big favourites to beat the French side, who staged a stunning fightback to see off Bradford 40-32 in the fourth round.

But St Helens coach Mick Potter, who was previously in charge of Catalans, will know not to underestimate his former side who have enjoyed several upsets in their short life, including reaching the Challenge Cup final in 2007 where they were beaten 30-8 by St Helens.

There is also a chance to see the quarter-final draw, which will take place after the match.
