The Almost Perfect Guide to Life

Episode 3

Duration: 25 minutes

First broadcast: on BBC Two EnglandLatest broadcast: on BBC Two Wales

Radio 1's Reggie Yates joins BBC Switch to present The Almost Perfect Guide to Life - a new six-part series offering a one-stop guide to everything teenagers want to know but are not sure who to ask. Joining Reggie to introduce 'Insider Guide' segments is AJ Odudu in her first TV-presenting role.

It is tough being a teen. There are surging hormones, changing bodies, exam stress and pocket money that just does not cut it. On top of that, there is pressure to wear the right clothes and to look good, when all they really want to do is spend time with their mates.

The show will give young people the information they need in an instructive and entertaining way to help them get through this confusing time. From how to pull, how to pass, and how to pretend they have known this stuff all along, each episode is fast-paced, funny, frank and packed with insider tips presented by experts.

Sixteen-year-old wannabe entrepreneur Carmen's big business idea is to set up her own company specialising in raves for the under-18s. She'll be mentored by Dominic McVey who made his first million aged just 15.

There's a quick guide to handling stress and AJ offers up an Insider's Guide to posing for the camera.

Also, Liverpudlian Harry gets a surprise visit from Hollyoaks characters Rhys (Andy Moss) and Kris (Gerard McCarthy) who show him how to throw his first house party in the family home and get away with it. Show less
