The Almost Perfect Guide to Life

Episode 2

Duration: 25 minutes

First broadcast: on BBC Two EnglandLatest broadcast: on BBC Two England

Radio 1's Reggie Yates joins BBC Switch to present The Almost Perfect Guide to Life - a new six-part series offering a one-stop guide to everything teenagers want to know but are not sure who to ask. Joining Reggie to introduce 'Insider Guide' segments is AJ Odudu in her first TV-presenting role.

It is tough being a teen. There are surging hormones, changing bodies, exam stress and pocket money that just does not cut it. On top of that, there is pressure to wear the right clothes and to look good, when all they really want to do is spend time with their mates.

The show will give young people the information they need in an instructive and entertaining way to help them get through this confusing time. From how to pull, how to pass, and how to pretend they have known this stuff all along, each episode is fast-paced, funny, frank and packed with insider tips presented by experts.

Episode two features Terri and Ibs, two teenagers who are completely clueless when it comes to the dating game. After a crash course in how to impress the opposite sex from mentors Radio 1 Xtra DJs Ace & Vis and Skins star Georgina Moffa, the two are put to the test as they embark on a blind date with each other. There are guides on how to prevent spots, as well as a demonstration of the correct way to put on a condom. Roving Reporter AJ visits a sexual health clinic for an insider's guide which will dispel some common myths and get to grips with some hard facts. Finally, eco-enemy Toyosi is shown how to reduce her enormous carbon footprint by eco-warrior Penney Poyzer. Show less
