My Pet Dinosaur

Duration: 50 minutes

First broadcast: on BBC Two EnglandLatest broadcast: on BBC One Northern Ireland

Scientists have recently discovered that dinosaurs were not only more adaptable than previously thought, but some could have been warm-blooded and able to evolve. The programme asks what life would be like if evolution had worked differently and humans co-existed with dinosaurs. Most, if not all the mammals that we are familiar with today would not exist. As a result, would dinosaurs be kept as pets? Would we be hunting Hadrosaurs instead of elk and farming Protoceratops instead of pigs? Show less
