Adventure: Dyak

on BBC Television

A weekly series of films taken by travellers and explorers on their expeditions throughout the world.

After spending years in the forests of Borneo with the Dyaks of Mentu Tapuh, a remote long-house in which is the home of an entire community, Bill Geddes, an Australian scientist, became accepted as a full member of the tribe. As a result he was able to make a detailed and intimate film record of the life of these attractive jungle people.
