Over the next six weeks
British designers are invited to submit entries for the BBC's prestigious design competition. In June the short-listed designs will be featured in television programmes and in exhibitions around the country and the winners will be selected by the general public. To launch the awards, BBC2 controller Alan Yentob talks to the chairmen of the three judging panels: Norman Foster for environment and architecture, Sir Terence Conran for products and John Hegarty for graphics.
