Ask a Policeman

on BBC Two England

The second of three films starring one of Britain's all-time comedy favourites Will Hay
with Graham Moffatt and Moore Marriott

In the sleepy little village of Turnbotham Round there hasn't been a crime committed for over ten years. On hearing of this, the Chief Constable threatens Sergeant Dudfoot and his two assistants Albert and Harbottle with the sack if they don't make an arrest soon. Their efforts to create an artificial crime wave have surprising and chaotic results.
