Griffin Mill is a film executive with problems: his job is in danger and he is receiving death threats. He suspects a spurned screenwriter of trying to ruin him, so sets out to find him. But as the threatening postcards continue to arrive and his position at the studio grows increasingly uncertain, Mill finds that solving the mystery is not as simple as he thought.
