Fly Me to Dunoon
The people of Dunoon are in two minds about the Americans.
When the nuclear submarine base first arrived on their doorstep in the 60s, it sparked off mass protests. Now the Yanks are leaving, Dunoon fears for its future. Jazz singer Suzanne Bonner , daughter of a local beauty queen and a black GI, exposes the good, the bad and the ugly side of the American presence in her songs, from doughnuts to nuclear subs.
