The last of a five-part series with Dr Jonathan Miller.
In Two Minds. The medical profession finally appears to have agreed that madness is a brain illness and that its most common form is schizophrenia. Miller, himself a neurologist, finds this fragile consensus wanting. He meets those who think that "schizophrenia" is just the latest in a long line of pseudo-medical definitions and concludes that whatever madness is, it seems to touch so deeply the nature of humanity itself that it constantly erodes the comprehension of the human mind.
