Three years ago, the 20,000 inhabitants of Camelford became unwilling guinea pigs in the biggest trial of aluminium toxicity ever known. The Camelford accident was marked by human error, management failure, administrative and political incompetence and limited scientific investigation. The programme uncovers new research on the possible long-term effects of aluminium upon the brain and looks at new forms of treatment for Alzheimer's disease.
