Cricket World Cup

on BBC Two England

Sri Lanka v India
South Africa v Kenya
Jonathan Agnew introduces live coverage of two Group A matches: Sri Lanka v India from Taunton and South Africa v
Kenya from Amsterdam.
The scoreboard could be ticking over rapidly in Somerset in the destructive presence of two of the world's leading batsmen - talismanic Indian captain Sachin Tendulkar and Sri Lanka's flamboyant opener Sanath Jayasuriya.
Meanwhile, the Cricket World Cup comes to the Netherlands for the first time. The sport is growing in popularity there and, although the country did not qualify forthe final stages of the tournament, local interest is expected to be high for a clash in which the all-round strength of the South Africans is favoured to overcome the Kenyan challenge.
The commentary is provided by Richie Benaud , Viv Richards , Ravi Shastri , Sanjay Manjrekar , Saliya Ahangama , Barry Richards , Peter Lever , Simon Hughes and Alan Wilkins. Producer Mark Wilkin
