Cleo, a glamorous and successful singer, gradually becomes aware of the world around her in the ninety minutes before she has the results of a medical examination.
Agnes Varda opens her film with a colour sequence to indicate Cleo's happiness before she discovers she might have an incurable disease. Tonight for the first time this sequence will be transmitted in colour.
