Wildlife on One

Wild Otter
Introduced by David Attenborough
In the far north of Britain, on the stormwashed islands of Shetland, lives a rare and beautiful animal, which most of us will never see-the otter.
But here is a unique opportunity to watch, through the eye of the camera, the day to day activities of a family ot totally wild otters. We see a courting pair at play, the mother encouraging her cubs to make their first venture into the water, and finally the well-grown young otters learning to hunt and fend for themselves.
