Preparing for a routine convoy duty escorting British merchant ships home from the Norwegian coast, Captain Armitage is not pleased to learn that his new officer is the man who previously ran off with his wife. When the Germans attack and board a merchant ship carrying refugees, he also learns that his wife is among the passengers.
