Oh Rosalinda! is a typically imaginative Michael Powell-Emeric Pressburger production - setting of Strauss's Die Fledermaus in the Vienna of the 50s. It features dazzling art direction by Hein Heckroth and sparkling new lyrics by Dennis Arundell for the familiar Strauss melodies. Anton Walbrook gives a spirited performance as 'The Bat' - the elegant Dr Falke - who plans his revenge for a practical joke, played on him by the French Colonel Eisenstein and his beautiful wife Rosalinda.
