Wheelbase: Is the Breath Test Fair?

on BBC Two England

Gordon Wilkins covers the world of motoring

For a year police have been drink-testing Britain's eleven million motorists with the breathalyser. Is the device accurate? Has it saved lives or frightened drivers off the road? Are doctors and police satisfied that it is a fair test?
Ahead of the Christmas holiday, Wheelbase investigates the breathalyser's record, and examines the Transport Minister's views on police drink tests outside the pubs.
