A dangerous mountain lion is on the prowl; it's a cunning enemy and a killer. The young son of a local rancher is all set to go after the killer cat with his gun, but his father sternly forbids it. The 'Whirlybird' helicopter lands with an experienced hunter, and he and the pilots are warmly greeted by the rancher; but when they get back to the house, the youngster has disappeared!
