The Wide-Brimmed Hat
She was the talk of Venice in the 1850s. She was captivating, effusive. But was she really dangerous? When the gondola arrived to take Charles Catchpole to the Princess Malvezzi, he had no idea that it would deliver him into a world of romance and political intrigue. This play, which won Edward Petherbridge a Sony Award for his portrayal of Charles Catchpole , is repeated in memory of the playwright Michael Wall , who died earlier this year.
With Richard Durden and Jonathan Tafler. Music Mia Soteriou.
