' Youth Hostels'
Howard Marshall and Others
What about this open-air business that has grown so enormously since the war ? Is it merely an escape from town life that does nobody any good, or is it opening up new worlds of experience and thought such as this town-bred generation badly needs ? For good or ill, the Youth Hostels Association with its sixty thousand members and its 260 hostels, where members stay for a shilling a night, plays a big part. Tonight Howard Marshall will discuss the subject with experienced hostellers.
