Couples

on BBC Two England

Sir Yehudi and Lady Menuhin talk to Dilys Morgan about the nomadic life they have shared for the past 40 years following the concert trail around the world. When they married she was a star in her own right as an actress-ballerina, but the demands of his career meant she had to give up hers. Lady Menuhin admits that she loves arguments and being married to 'the most obstinate man in the world'. She has thrown breakfast trays and a typewriter at her 'infuriatingly calm' husband.
