For the Schools: Science and Life: The World in Space: 4: The Planets

on BBC Television

View in Radio Times

Men once thought that the planets moved in circles round the earth, but when they studied the paths of the planets in the sky they realised that this idea was wrong. The programme shows the simple pattern of these orbits and surveys the planets themselves with the question.- 'Can they support life as we know it?'.
