Cricket: Hampshire v Lancashire

on BBC Two England

Live coverage from Southampton of the first semi-final of this year's NatWest Trophy 60-overs-per-side competition.

Hampshire travelled to Lord's to crush Middlesex in the quarter-finals, a formidable total of 295 proving too much for the home side, who slumped to 151 all out. A 141-run partnership between Adrian Aymes and Giles White was the cornerstone of Hampshire's total, while miserly bowling restricted the Middlesex batsmen with the exception of Justin Langer.

Blocking Hampshire's path to the final at Lord's on 5 September are one-day specialists Lancashire, who ousted Nottinghamshire to reach the last four.
Michael Atherton took the excellent form he has shown for England over the summer back to Old Trafford as an innings of 76 helped the Red Rose county to cruise past their target with four overs and six wickets to spare.

Introduced by Tony Lewis, with commentary coming from David Gower and Chris Broad.
