Room 101

on BBC Two England

In George Orwell's 1984, Room 101 is described as the worst thing in the world and is individual to each person. This first programme in a new series is the antithesis to Desert Island Discs, with guests describing the pet hates that make up their personal "Room 101".
Another successful radio series that has transferred to the screen, it is presented by Nick Hancock, who weighs up the arguments, adding a few prejudices of his own and then decides whether the item is bad enough to be included.
Bob Monkhouse starts the ball rolling with his list including Cilia Black singing, and the French. Other guests in the series include Ian Hislop, Peter Cook, Jo Brand, Tony Slattery, Danny Baker, David Baddiel and Maureen Lipman.
