(Pocitani Ovecek ) starring
Zaneta Fuchsova
Nine-year-old Hanka has spent her life in a cardiology clinic: it has become her home, and the staff her family. Hanka is quite happy, making her rounds, visiting the disreputable porter, ordering the nurses about, 'swishing up and down corridors like a cow's tail', as her doctor says. But a new cleaner, Anezka, opens Hanka's eyes to the world beyond the hospital gates.
Counting Sheep features a wonderful performance by Zaneta Fuchsova as the impertinent Hanka and was directed by Karel Kachnya , whose production of The Golden Eels was shown in the last season of Globe
Theatre.
