Cameron Country: Why Patriotism?

on BBC Two England

Tonight's edition in James Cameron's own series of documentary films

In a lifetime of travelling, James Cameron has crossed innumerable frontiers, those demarcation lines of territory and patriotism. In this programme he tried to discover what patriotism is, how it has changed during this century, and if anyone still feels it.
He found not only that it is very much alive in Britain, but that the word itself seemed to open up a series of private and fascinating compartments in the British character.

Also taking part: Members of the Cattistock Hunt, Chelsea Pensioners, John Fowles, Members of the Krishnamurti Foundation, Hugh McDiarmid, Colonel Colin Mitchell, Members of the National Front
